Job Introduction

Abicare has an exciting role for an office administrator working with the Live-in and recruitment team at their head office in Salisbury. The administrator will be responsible for arranging and booking all trains/hotels for the live-in carers. Assisting the Carer Liaison Coordinators (CLC) to ensure we have a good bank of Abicare Live-in or agency carers, with up to date carer profiles, so that we can provide the best match to our new and existing live-in clients.

Main Responsibility

The administrator will work collaboratively with the Live-In operations team and recruitment team on a daily basis to understand upcoming carer requirements for the service and ensure bookings are done timely.

Assist the CLC to ensure new starters are looked after including full RTW compliance and initial inductions.

Assist the CLC’s to continue to build relationships with the carers in order to build up the matching process between carers and clients (know the carer's specific skills e.g. driver, speaks a particular language, experience in caring for people with specific medical conditions etc).

The administrator will assist the CLC’s to maintain regular contact with all carers not in post, promoting the Abicare brand and ensuring they are put forward for relevant packages coming on board.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent administrative, organisational and IT skills
  • Previous knowledge of recruitment processes and RTW, DBS etc
  • Previous experience working within the social care sector, but not essential
  • Proactive and the confidence to build new relationships
  • Assertive, but personable - a definite people person, organised and able to manage high volumes of carer applications/ booking trains/ accommodation for staff
  • Possess excellent analytical and communication skills
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team

Package Description

Salary: £20k to £22k + welcome bonus £400*
