Job Introduction
The role:
Reporting to the Business Growth & Development Manager (BGDM), the Care Development Manager will be responsible for growing and developing the business to achieve agreed targets and will work collaboratively with the Care Service Manager/Field Care Supervisor (CSM/FCS) to ensure growth and compliance of the service.
You will share the desire to grow the business and promote the company but maintain the delivery of person-centred care to our clients.
You will report to and be supported by the Live-in Registered Manager, who will guide you to stay at the forefront of best practice within the care sector.
Main Responsibility
Key areas:

To plan and achieve agreed targets set by the BGDM

To promote the service and increase brand awareness with local commissioning managers, hospital social workers, discharge teams, CHC team, GP surgeries, Day Centres, Hospices, Personal Injury Lawyers and networking groups

Start-up of new client care packages ensuring a smooth handover to the care operation team

Liaising with our support team regarding clients and carers

Maintaining quality standards and compliance with CQC/CIW regulations

Taking an active role in the business team meetings

To arrange company events for our clients i.e. tea-parties, outings, garden centres etc. and using our marketing team to publicise using TV, radio and social media
The Ideal Candidate
The person:

Possess excellent communication & networking skills

Motivated and driven

Excellent IT skills
-
Care diploma Level 3 or above
-
Previous experience of supervising and managing people

Sound knowledge ‘person-centred’ approach to supporting people
