Registered Care Manager (Domiciliary)

Job Introduction

Abicare is recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to manage the growth and compliance of our Basingstoke branch. You will work closely with the Care Operations Manager to ensure you are achieving your agreed targets. You will have a full team of staff to manage on a daily basis, (locality manager, supervisors, admin support) therefore good delegation, organisational skills and time management are essential.

Main Responsibility

As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Have a passion for making a difference within the care sector and promoting person-centred care
  • Manage financial plans/budgets in collaboration with the Care Operations Manager
  • Have the energy and drive to support, develop and motivate your teams to provide a high-quality standard of care to all clients
  • Build a profitable business and secure strong relationships with Social Services, CCGs and local community groups
  • Stay up to date with the Health & Social Care Act, Mental Capacity, Safeguarding & CQC Standards
  • Develop your care team to ensure they have the correct skills and knowledge, whilst looking after their safety and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience of holding CQC Registration with a Domiciliary Care Company
  • NVQ Diploma Level 4/5 in Care Leadership & Management Health Social Care
  • Sound knowledge of ‘person-centred’ approach to supporting people
  • Possess excellent organisational, time management and IT skills
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Knowledge of care rostering system an advantage
  • A clean driving licence and full access to a car are essential

Package Description
